Anikulapo is a 2022 Nigerian Yoruba-language epic mystical folklore drama film directed by Kunle Afolayan. The film tells the story of Saro, a young man who seeks greener pastures in the great Oyo Kingdom. However, his affair with the king's wife leads to his untimely death and encounter with Akala, a mystical bird believed to give and take life.
